PROBLEMS ENROLLING?

You cannot enroll in the College Eight Core Course until the Admissions Office has received and entered official AP or Analytical Writing Exam (AWPE) scores or official transcripts for UC transferable course work.

Analytical Writing Placement Exam (AWPE) scores are automatically sent. On the other hand, AP, IB, ACT, and SAT scores require that you request to have your official score reports sent from the testing service to the UC Santa Cruz Admissions Office. You can check online at my.ucsc.edu (navigate to "View Test Scores") to see if your test scores have been received and entered. If you have not had official scores sent to UC Santa Cruz Admissions Office, visit the IB and/or ETS websites, or call (609) 771-7300 prior to 1:00 PM Pacific Time. If you are satisfying the ELWR and the C1 Composition Requirement with a college composition course, the Admissions Office MUST receive and evaluate your official transcripts before you can enroll into any College Eight 80B section. Definitely enroll in two fall courses while you are waiting for test scores or official transcripts to be posted. 

***The College may need to change your College Eight Core section, though we will make sure that your section assignment does not conflict with other courses.
