From the time you are admitted to the university until the time you are ready to graduate, the College Eight advising team is here to explain requirements and policies, refer you to support services, and to help you achieve your goals.

Academic Advisers answer questions about general education, campus and university requirements, and choosing classes.

College Advisers also monitor your progress towards degree and your academic standing and direct you to important courses and enriching opportunities at UCSC.

Advising is an important component of your undergraduate education and the Advisers are available to support your success in College. 

Location

The Advising Office is located in the College Eight Academic building. You can schedule an appointment or just drop-in.

To schedule an appointment with an Adviser, or to ask a quick advising question, call (831) 459-2361. 

Hours 

Academic year: Monday through Friday, 9 am to 4 pm.

Summer (mid-June through August): Monday through Friday, 9 am to 1 pm.
